TokSift

TikTok Comment Exporter

Export TikTok video comments to CSV or Excel in seconds. Get usernames, timestamps, likes and replies — then analyze them with AI. No login required.

No TikTok login required

Reading thousands of TikTok comments by hand is impossible. TokSift pulls every comment on a video into a clean spreadsheet — username, comment text, timestamp, like count, reply count and thread structure — so you can sort, filter and pivot the way you would with any other dataset. Paste a link and the export starts immediately; there is nothing to install and you never hand over your TikTok credentials.

How it works

  1. 1

    Copy the video link

Open the TikTok video, tap Share and choose Copy link.

  2. 2

    Paste it into TokSift

Paste the link into the box above and press Export comments.

  3. 3

    Download your file

Wait for the export to finish, then download it as CSV or Excel — or send it straight to AI analysis.

Everything you need to work with TikTok comments

Built to handle real analysis work — not just a one-off download. Flexible enough for a single video or an entire campaign.

Complete comment data, not just text

Every row includes the comment ID, parent comment ID, author handle and nickname, timestamp in UTC, like count, reply count, pinned status and whether the creator liked it. Threads stay intact, so replies remain linked to their parent comment.

CSV and Excel, ready to use

Export to CSV for scripts and BI tools, or to .xlsx with formatting preserved for sharing with a team. Emoji and non-Latin scripts are UTF-8 encoded correctly — no mojibake when you open the file in Excel.

Built for large videos

Viral videos with hundreds of thousands of comments are handled with streaming pagination rather than a single request, so exports finish instead of timing out halfway.

Honest counts

When TikTok's displayed comment count doesn't match what can actually be retrieved, we show you both numbers and explain the gap — and only bill you for the comments you actually received.

No account, no extension

You never log into TikTok through us and we never ask for your password. Nothing is installed in your browser. Public video comments are fetched server-side.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a TikTok account to export comments?

No. TokSift reads publicly visible comments server-side. You never log in and we never ask for your TikTok password.

Why is the exported comment count lower than what TikTok shows?

TikTok's displayed count includes comments that cannot be retrieved: deleted comments, comments from suspended accounts, spam-filtered comments and collapsed low-quality replies. A gap of 10–30% is normal on large videos. We always show you both numbers, tell you why the export stopped, and bill only for what you actually received.

What fields are included in the export?

Comment ID, parent comment ID, comment text, creation time in UTC, like count, reply count, pinned flag, creator-liked flag, detected language, and the author's user ID, handle, nickname and region where available.

Can I export replies as well as top-level comments?

Yes. Enable replies before starting the export and each reply is returned with a parent comment ID so you can reconstruct full threads.

Is there a limit on how many comments I can export?

The free tier covers 2,000 comments. Paid plans are credit-based and one credit equals one exported comment, so you can spend them across as many videos as you like.

Does this work on private videos?

No. Only publicly visible videos can be exported. If a video is private, friends-only or deleted, the export will fail and you won't be charged.

Is exporting TikTok comments legal?

TokSift only accesses comments that are already publicly visible to anyone browsing TikTok. Different jurisdictions treat automated collection of public data differently, and it may conflict with TikTok's Terms of Service. You are responsible for how you use exported data, particularly under privacy laws like GDPR if you store personal information. We are not affiliated with TikTok.
