Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 3 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and WHALEPLUS PTE. LTD., the company that operates TokSift. They apply from the first time you use the site. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

1. What TokSift does

TokSift retrieves public comments from TikTok videos, exports them to CSV or Excel, and can run an AI analysis over a sample of them. It is software delivered over the internet. There is nothing to install, and it never asks for your TikTok password.

TokSift is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. Nothing on this site should be read as suggesting otherwise.

2. Accounts

The viewers and small exports work without an account. Buying credits and running background jobs require signing in with Google, because credits and job results have to belong to someone.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@toksift.com if you believe someone else is using it.

3. Subscriptions and credits

TokSift is sold as a subscription. Read this section before you subscribe — it is the part that costs money if you skim it.

  • A subscription renews automatically — monthly or yearly, whichever you chose — and keeps renewing until you cancel it. Yearly plans are charged for the whole year up front.
  • Each billing period comes with a fresh allowance of credits, shown on the pricing page for your plan.
  • Credits belong to the period they were issued in. Whatever you have not used when a period ends does not carry over — the next period starts at the full allowance again, not the leftovers plus more.
  • One credit corresponds to one comment delivered, whether by export or by analysis. There is no second currency to reconcile.
  • Each video has a per-video ceiling shown on the pricing page. It exists so that one unusually large video cannot silently consume a whole period.
  • A free allowance applies per video before credits are used at all.
  • A subscription is tied to your account. It cannot be transferred or resold, and credits cannot be exchanged for cash.

You can cancel at any time from your account or by writing to support@toksift.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not cut off the period you have already paid for, which runs to its end.

If a job fails or returns fewer comments than were reserved for it, the unused credits go back to your balance for that period. You are charged for what was actually delivered.

4. Your responsibilities for exported data

Exports contain other people’s personal data — usernames, opinions, timestamps. Read this section properly; it is the one with real consequences.

You agree that you will:

  • use exported data only for lawful purposes, and only where you have a lawful basis to hold it;
  • comply with TikTok’s own terms of service and with the data protection law that applies to you;
  • not use exported data to harass, dox, defame, or target any individual;
  • not attempt to re-identify, enrich, or cross-reference commenters against other datasets;
  • not resell exported data as a dataset, or represent it as an official TikTok product;
  • not use the service to build a competing bulk data resale product.

Once an export is delivered to you, you control it. Obligations that attach to holding personal data — retention limits, security, answering the people whose data it is — become yours.

5. Acceptable use of the service itself

Do not attempt to bypass the rate limits, the per-video ceiling, or the credit system; do not use automated means to create accounts or claim free allowances repeatedly; do not probe or attack the infrastructure. We may suspend an account that does any of these, and we may do so without notice where the service is actively being harmed.

6. Payment

Prices are shown in US dollars. Payment is taken on the checkout page of Waffo.com Limited, an authorised distributor of our products. We never see or store your card details. Credits are added to your balance once the payment is confirmed, which is normally immediate.

Because the sale is distributed by Waffo.com Limited, that name — not TokSift — may be what appears on your card or bank statement. If you see it and do not recognise it, this is why; write to support@toksift.com before disputing the charge and we will sort it out faster than a chargeback will.

You are responsible for any taxes or bank charges that apply where you are.

7. Refunds

Credits are digital goods that are usable the moment payment clears, so a blanket right of withdrawal does not apply. Our policy is deliberately concrete:

  • Within 20 days of a charge, and if you have used less than 5% of that period’s credits, write to support@toksift.com and we will refund that charge in full.
  • Beyond either of those limits we do not refund the period already charged, because the credits behind it have been spent on upstream costs we have already paid. You can still cancel so that nothing renews.
  • Separately from the above: you are only ever charged for comments actually delivered. Credits reserved for a job that fails, or that returns fewer comments than expected, return to your balance automatically. If that ever fails to happen, tell us and we will correct it — that is a defect on our side, not a refund request.

Every account gets a free allowance on each video before any credit is spent. Use it to check the service does what you need before you buy.

8. Availability, and what we depend on

The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

It is worth being specific about why. TokSift depends on TikTok continuing to serve public data, on a third-party data provider, and on third-party AI providers. Any of them can change, rate-limit, or break without warning, and when that happens parts of the service degrade. We will say so on the site when we know. We cannot promise availability that is not ours to give.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, TokSift is not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost or corrupted data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and none of it affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using TokSift at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by writing to support@toksift.com.

We may suspend or close an account that materially breaches these terms, that we reasonably suspect of fraud, or where the law requires it. If we close your account for a reason other than your breach, we refund any unused credits.

11. No partnership

Using the service does not create a joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship between you and TokSift, and you agree not to present yourself as our representative.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. If a change materially affects your rights, or the price or nature of what you have already bought, we will make that visible on the site rather than leaving you to spot a new date. Credits you have already purchased keep the terms they were bought under.
